ROLANDO

ROLANDO RODRIGUEZ is an artist from Los Angeles, California, whose works in prose and film include The Healing Song, La Jaula, Calavera, and Malte. His short fiction has been published in Boston Review, shortlisted for the Aura Estrada Short Story Contest and the Halifax Ranch Fiction Prize. For his feature-length screenplay, he was named a Notable Writer in the Outfest Screenwriting Lab. A retrospective exhibition of his visual art, ropa sucia, explored intergenerational queerness, trauma, and memory as the son of Salvadoran immigrants. He studied Architecture at Columbia University in the City of New York and is REDCAT staff at California Institute of the Arts.
